OUR AIMS

Student Leadership will always be dedicated to the students of the John of Gaunt School. We will always be taking on new ideas, as well as encouraging students to get involved with the decisions made at the school. As a team, we will try our best to work with not only the students, but also the staff in governors, in a respectful and professional manner, whilst also taking on any input given- whether this be negative or positive.

We aim to improve the school as a team by working together, and using debate and discussion to come to conclusions on issues. We also aim to have the best interests of staff and students in mind when making these decisions, and not only using our own input.

We will use our yearly funds to help improve the school, along with the ongoing work with site management and the governors. This money shall be spent accordingly, and not for personal use- as it has been previously, with supplying free lunch to the team.

We will attempt to work with The Senior Leadership Team regularly, and update them on our plans and proposals.

Student Leadership will stay committed to their roles within the school, and will regularly vote on higher leadership roles, in order to create a variation on roles.
